Welcome to the Kino-no-Tabi club! But please don't assume we're dedicated purely to "キノの旅 -The Beautiful World-" (aka Kino's Journey) written by Keiichi Sigsawa. This is a club dedicated to all of his light novel series, and to the illustrator Kuroboshi Kouhaku.

To those unfamiliar with "Kino no Tabi"
It originally started out as a light novel written by Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrated by Kuroboshi Kouhaku, but has also been made into PS2 games and has a 13 episode anime and a movie. Continuing on with Keiichi Sigsawa, not much is accurately known about him. He writes under a pen name and tends to change his personal information to keep us all wondering (he doesn't think its important). He's written other light novels such as "Allison", "Lillia to Treize" (aka Lillia and Treize), "Meg to Seron" (aka Meg and Seron) and "Gakuen Kino". Kuroboshi Kouhaku illustrates all of Keiichi Sigsawa's light novels and does his own number of other projects designing characters for games and anime among other things. Below I will include short descriptions of the other light novels Keiichi Sigsawa writes...
"Allison" - Follows the story of Allison and Will, orphans who grow up in a world where their country and their neighboring country had been fighting for many years before becoming to a truce. While relations between the two countries are still not at their best, Allison and Will go off on a journey to find the treasure to put the war into the past and bring peace. Allison is a pilot in air force and Will is an intelligent young man with impressive accuracy. They go on many different adventures and meet many people along the way. Has 4 light novel volumes and a sound novel game for Nintendo DS.
"Lillia to Treize" - Follows the story of Allison and Will's daughter, Lillia, and a young man by the name of Treize. Old friends return in this story as well as exciting secrets and twisting plots. This is 6 volumes long and was also included in the "Allison to Lillia" anime series that was 24 episodes long and encompassed the light novels "Allison" and "Lillia to Treize", thus the merged title.
"Meg to Seron" - Follows a side-character named Meg, a friend and classmate of Lillia, and Seron. Currently 5 volumes and on-going.
"Gakuen Kino" - Kino returns in a new world as a young High School girl. And this time she has a talking cellphone strap! Told she must fight monsters from taking over the world, but she's not so sure if she should be trusting this talking strap. See old characters from "Kino no Tabi" return in this story. Currently 3 volumes long and on-going.
These descriptions are written by myself with what information I've accumulated and researched. I do apologize if some information is inaccurate but I'm still working on reading them myself. Not too easy since my Japanese isn't the best.
For those interested in reading fan-translations of some of these series please feel free to visit BakaTsuki!! You can read the teaser translation of "Gakuen Kino" and "Kino no Tabi"!! If anyone is fluent in Japanese, or other published languages, please look into assisting the site with translations.
